About Me
Although I feel like I'm a true East Coaster, after over a decade here, I was originally born in Kingston, Ontario. I then moved to Bracebridge, Ontario at a young age where I played every sport available to me. Rugby allowed me the opportunity to play at a higher level and experience some high performance environments as a player. I soon realized that it was far more likely that I would remain in high performance environments as a coach than a player.
It took me many years of playing and coaching to reflect on what it was about sport that I loved so much. Once I knew that it was the connections, personal growth (for myself and those around me) and driving ambition was what I loved - I continually seek out those opportunities.

In 2023 I made the incredibly hard decision to move away from being full-time in the Sports Industry. Although I remained in a number of coaching roles I was quickly missing being deeply rooted in all things sport. This in addition to my reflection on what I love most about sport led me to the creation of Teddy Coaching.
